The Inn at Morro Bay and 60 State Park Restaurant are proud to be sponsors of the upcoming Avocado & Margarita Festival. The event, hosted by organized by the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce will boast a full day of activities, ranging from live music performances, to food booths, retail vendors and of course, margaritas.
An exclusive pre-event cocktail party, Taste of the Grove, will take place on Friday night prior to the main event on Saturday. 60 State Park Restaurant Executive Chef, Kristina Duffy will be crafting a surprise signature dish at the event. In theme with the event, the evening will be hosted at the Packing Shed, a local Morro Bay Avocado farm with a beautiful backdrop in the rolling hills of Morro Bay. Attendees of the event will also enjoy delicious hand crafted cocktails, live music, and dozens of avocado-centric dishes.

The main event, the Avocado Margarita Festival will take place on Saturday, September 10th 2016 from 10am-7pm on the Embarcadero. Don’t miss the fun high-stakes contests, like the “Drop-the-mic Sombrero Competition”. The winner of this cut-throat challenge will win a coveted free night stay at the Inn at Morro Bay. There will also be a raffle for the grand prize of a year supply of Calavo’s avocados. The Inn at Morro Bay & 60 State Park Restaurant will also have a vendor booth so be sure to stop by for a delicious avocado-themed dish for purchase.
